We got a chance to spend some time with family in Macon this weekend. I was so happy to see Baby Kyndall. She is getting bigger and starting to interact a lot more. My favorite part of the visit was watching Bailey sing to Kyndall. She started to coo and just smile at Bailey. It was awesome!

Bailey, Ethan and Bella took part in the Brunswick Zone party this weekend. They got to bowl for 2 hours, eat pizza and ice cream for FREE! My favorite kind of party...ha!

Bailey got some got soccer practice in with her daddy yesterday. She was hoping that Coach Ray would notice she had been practicing her big and little kicks.

Ben and Andrea gave an AWESOME show last night at Spudz Tavern( and I'm not just saying that because I am their manager). Check out their site: http://www.myspace.com/crossvillestation. We met up with all of our friends and had a blast. BIG thanks to Emily for watching Bailey so Mike and I could have a night out! Once again, kudos to Ben and Andrea. You guys rock!

Bailey's Cupcake Party

Bailey brought cupcakes to her school today to celebrate her special day. She helped me bake the strawberry treats with strawberry icing and hot pink sprinkles for the top. She got to be line leader, help pick the books for storytime and lead the music parade. Then when Mike got home, we had even more cake and opened a couple of extra presents. I think her birthday week-long celebration is officially over!!!!!!

Bailey really had a blast on her birthday party weekend. The funniest part was when Dawn brought in her beautiful mermaid cake and instead of swimming with her friends, Bailey just wanted to sit and look at it. She honestly sat there for at least 10 minutes. Thanks to everyone for coming out to celebrate. I didn't get any pics of the Craninum game, but trust me....Dad and I reigned supreme and showed off our mad gaming skills. Then we wrapped up the weekend with a trip to the bowling alley. I am glad to report my score of 162 topped them all. Yes, I had the bumpers up but that didn't have any influence on all my strikes and spares. :) Oh yeah, at one point Bailey was beating all of us. She has been playing too much Wii!

First Day in Pre-K

First Day at Pre-K

Bailey said she had a lot of fun today. Her favorite part was painting. We celebrated her first day at Rita's afterward. She came right home and laid on the couch so it is safe to say they wore her out. I'm loving that!

Bailey Meets Her Teachers

 

Bailey and I went to visit her teachers for the first time today. I am so excited that she has Ms. Lucy, one of my former InTech students! Both teachers were really excited to see Bailey and let her play with the different centers while we visited. Bailey headed straight for the kitchen center and blocks. She even noticed the sand/water table and was excited about having one of those in her room. It is definitely a bittersweet moment for me now that she will be in Pre-K all day, but I know that she will really enjoy herself!
