We had a great time watching the Braves BEAT the Red Sox today with the score of 2-1. Since the temps were in the high 90's, Bailey and I hung out in Toon Town most of the time. But what I did see of the game was great....ha! Bailey even got to show off her hitting skills on the kid's field.

Happy Father's Day 2009

Father's Day 2009

We had a pretty packed Father's Day this year. We all went to the movie "Up". It was awesome! If you haven't seen it, go! We actually saw the 3D version and it was really neat. Bailey kept saying...look the pictures, they are coming right to us. She loved the bird, Kevin. She hasn't stopped talking about it or those mean dogs. Ha. Ok...I won't give any more away. Then we decided to chill at the pool since it was pushing 100 degrees. I am always amazed at how good she is doing. She jumps off the diving board and swims to Mike with no problems in the deep end. Then we came home and Mike cooked some delicious hamburgers. To wrap things up, I was treated to a jam session by Bailey and Mike. They are learning the latest Daughtery song, "No Surprise". I hope all daddies out there had a great day. Of course, I have to give a shout out to the best dad EVER...MINE. :) I love you , Daddy!!!!

Mom's Bday

Mom's Bday

Bailey and I got a chance to celebrate Mom's bday with her this weekend. I also spent some time with Dawn and Bette with a GNO! Thanks for watching Bailey, Mom. Bailey had fun playing some with Bri as well. I can't believe how much she has grown.

VBS Day 2

They actually brought a petting zoo to VBS today. Bailey's favorite animal was the horse but she also saw a cow, pigs, sheep, and a lamp ( I think she meant lamb). Today was Croc Day so all the kids wore their crocs and they even made a crocodile magnet for arts and crafts too. We rode the trolly back to the car since they love doing that as well. Bailey even got to ring the trolley bell when she got off.

VBS Day 1

Ethan and Bailey had a blast at VBS today. I asked them what their favorite part was and they said it was playing on the playground. We even got to ride the trolley back to the car and they loved that too. They both made some cool boomerang wind chimes and learned a new song too. And if you know Bailey, you know she loves to perform.....

Deck Update

I am so excited! We are finally getting around to repairing our deck that was wiped out in a storm over a month ago. Tom helped Mike ALL day and so far it is looking great. Mike even surprised me with some solar light caps. We still have some work to do but I can already tell it is going to look awesome. Thanks so much Mike and Tom!!!

Storytime

We got a chance to enjoy storytime at our local library. Bailey got to enjoy fingerplays, dancing, and listening to the story "Mean Soup".
