We had a chance to visit Gulf Shores for the first time and had a great time. We went to a lot of great places to eat (thanks for the suggestions, Andrea) and even got to hang out with Nisa and her family. Bailey's favorite part was going crabbing late at night with Mike. She is still toting her flashlight around!

We had to put Charlie B. down yesterday. He put up a good fight against the cancer. I know everyone says their dog is best, but we know we had the most awesome dog ever. C.B. was our Baby Boy and we sure will miss him.

Bailey and Charlie B. gave me an awesome surprise today....gift cards to a spa!!! I've never been to a spa before so I'm excited about going. Hope I don't get used to all the pampering. Ha!

East Cobb Avenue Special Event

On certain Saturdays, the East Cobb Avenues holds special events for kids. Bailey and I joined Marcia and her kids today. We got a chance to hula hoop (you've gotta watch the video below of Bailey), make a necklace, and have our picture taken at Clix.

Today, Bailey spent time working on her arts and crafts project. She is making a special surprise for her Grandmas. She is all about the glue stick and stickers!

Circus 2008

I got lucky and won circus and ride tickets from Atlanta Parent's website! So we spent most of the day at Jim Miller Park enjoying the event. Bailey's favorite part of the circus was watching the clown skits. In one, a clown had his tooth pulled out by the dentist. In another, their house caught on fire and they had to call the fire department. Bailey has been talking about these ever since and is insisting that she has to go to the dentist! Her favorite ride by far was the race track. Which amazed me because those cars were whipping around the corners pretty fast. She actually wanted them to go faster. I'll post videos from the day in the next posting.

Sage's Birthday Party

Bailey had a blast at Sage's birthday party. She LOVES Monkey Joe's. Mike won't admit it, but he does too. He has just as much fun climbing, jumping, and sliding. Needless to say, she passed out on the car ride home.

A Nice Resolution

We (and most of Marietta) took advantage of 31cent scoop night. Bailey and I shared the strawberry and chocolate fudge while Mike went all out with the cookie dough. What a special treat!
