Since we had another dreary day up here in Atlanta, Bailey and I hung out at Monkey Joe's. And we had it mostly to ourselves! And no....I DIDN'T get hurt!

Alpharetta Children's Festival

We've had a lot of fun while my Mom was visiting. Today we even spent some time at a festival. Thank goodness the rain held off. Bailey got to ride a pony, pet some animals, watch a magic show, and walk through the little fire safety house.

Easter Egg Drop 2008

We all attended the first Canton Egg Drop today. It seems like thousands of other folks had the same idea too...ha! I overheard a volunteer for the event say they had really underestimated the number of folks who would attend. I just thought it would be cool to see 50,000 eggs dropped from a helicopter. Oh and the Wii,Xbox and iPod prizes sounded pretty neat too!
Although we didn't win any nifty electronics, Bailey got some candy in the eggs. She also got to go into a big fire truck and jump in some bounce houses.

Radio Pirates March 2008

Mike and I went with our neighbors and friends to support Ben and Andrea's band, the Radio Pirates. We had a blast! I knew they were talented, but they still blew me away. Not only did we get a chance to chill with friends and listen to awesome music, Ben pelted the audience with Easter eggs filled with candy or money. I'll post a video below, but excuse the quality of the camera. You will still get the picture...they rock!

Bailey had a great time at her preschool Easter party. Unfortunately almost half the class was absent because they were sick. Must be that time of year!

Bailey worked today on getting her Easter eggs ready for her party at preschool. I think we are going to practice hiding/finding them in the yard today so she will be on her A-game Thursday!

Preschool Picture Day

 

Bailey had picture day at school today. I hear almost all of the 10 girls showed up with pig tails like Bailey. Can't wait to see how they turn out!

Where's Bailey

Ever since Bailey has moved into a toddler bed, we have found her in some weird positions with some weird objects dragged into bed with her. I even found a baby doll stroller on top of her as she slept soundly.

This weekend, she really threw Mike and me a curve. Check it out...

Time to Garden

We took advantage of the beautiful weather this weekend and spent some time out in the yard. Our neighbor, Tammy, was planting some flowers so I sent Bailey over to supervise. Okay, so I was really trying to convince Tammy to rent her for child labor. Even though I had what I considered a great rate, Bailey got in the way more than she worked so the deal fell through. Probably for the best. I mean this is a neighbor who does this to her dogs....

Bailey wanted to model her new raincoat from her Daddy. We hope she gets too wear it often, we still have a water shortage.
