Ok...it was hard to out do Princess Leah from last year, but I think we came close. Bailey bears an uncanny resemblance to Gene Simmons when her hair is pulled back just right. So that is right, folks, we represented the KISS band tonight. Bailey was Gene, Mike was Paul Stanley, and me....humm...I was a devoted groupie! I was pretty proud of her costume since it was all homemade. Let's hope she doesn't hold this against us when she grows up. Bailey, it was all your Dad's idea!!!!

Berry Farm Pumpkin Patch

| Berry Farms Pumpkin Patch |
Bailey went to her first pumpkin patch today. And the weather couldn't have been better! We got to see some farm animals, play on the playground, and go on a hay ride. Bailey even picked 2 pumpkins of her very own. She wanted 3 but just couldn't handle them all. She even got her face painted. Her favorite part by far was the tractor ride though. Guess that is the South Georgia country girl coming out in her!

Georgia vs. Forida 2007

| Georgia vs. Florida 2007 |
My coworker, Christy, invited us to her house for the game. We had a great time. They have such a beautiful house. I could move onto the back porch and be perfectly happy. Bailey had a lot of fun playing with her kids, Abbey and Walker. This was her first time on a trampoline. We even got to see some deer in the backyard. Oh yeah, almost forgot..........Georgia won too!

Ms. Dawn
Here is Bailey with her new sitter, Ms. Dawn. I was so happy to hear that Bailey had a great day with her. I was really worried about the big transition. I can tell that Bailey has already bonded with her because she keeps asking about Daaaaawn throughout the day. She loves to talk about her fish tank too!

ETI Retreat
Thanks to Pete (Mike's boss) and Sylvia for hosting a party at their cabin near Dahlonega. The weather, food, and company was just perfect. We had a great time fishing and hiking too. Pete and his quartet even surprised us all with songs. Even the 1 1/2 hour trip wasn't bad because it was such a pretty drive up.
Bye, Bye High Chair
Bailey has retired her high chair. Her long legs just didn't want to bend in all the weird angles I needed them to in order to get her in and out. So far she has been doing really well in her new big girl seat.

Baby Hoke
Bailey and I got a special treat today. We went to visit Baby Hoke. Bailey was even okay with me holding him so I could get a baby fix. Glad to report that both Amy and baby are looking great.
PhotoShows from South Carolina
Dad shared the links with the pics and videos from our visit last week.

Bailey's First Playgroup
Bailey and I enjoyed our first playgroup with the little girls from her preschool class. Marcia was super nice and invited us all over for a little get together. I am happy to report that Bailey didn't have too many break downs. She had some sharing issues and didn't like me pushing the other kids on the swing. But other than that, it went really well. She loved the powdered doughnuts and juice boxes. What can I say, she is my kid?!?!
One of the little girls from class is an excellent talker already and did tell how Bailey would hit on her at school. YIKES....you are busted, Bailey. But we did get invited to the next get together so all must be good. Ha! Thanks again, Marcia, your playdate rocked!

Busy Weekend
Mike is still in the process of putting the finishing touches on the kitchen. Baseboards were on the agenda this weekend. Although it is looking great, I see a lot of painting in my future. Ugh, I am so over painting! Bailey is willing to pitch in and help as always. We did find some bubbles and that entertained her for a little bit. She even jammed to Mike's boombox. She just wanted to be outside as much as possible. I couldn't blame her, it was gorgeous. I even laid outside and read books with her some. Of course she had to pull her fair share of the chores and helped her daddy move wood into the backyard. She loved it! Gotta instill that hard work ethic in em young.

Art Alert
Bailey has been having such a great time at school. She brought home some of her latest art creations today. The best news is that according to Marcia, she didn't cry one bit during car pool today. This is a huge step for her. Yeah, Bailey!!!
