Mike surprised me with 18 beautiful red roses. Some even had purple on the petals. They were so pretty and smelled great. Even Bailey wanted to take a sniff. I am so lucky to have such a sweetie!

It is so hard to believe that Bailey is less than a month away from her first birthday! Where did the time go? I still remember being pregnant with her and the 50 + pounds I put on. I remember taking forever to get from the parking lot at work to my office. It seemed like KSU's campus grew an exta mile with each step I took. But I did love being pregnant so it was worth it. I wish I had this blog back then. Boy, the tales I could have told!!!!!
Here are pictures of Bailey's monthly poses from the beginning.
Bailey is now an official member of Marcia's Munchkins. I think she really enjoyed her first day with Marcia and the other little girls. Marcia said she could hear Campbell, another 11 month old girl, and Bailey just a giggling at each other when they woke up from their naps. Their cribs are in the same room. I hope all the girls will really get a chance to become good friends. Click here to visit Marcia's website.
Bailey had her first "play date" guest over this weekend. My best friend from home, Dawn, brought her baby Brianna up to visit this weekend. Bre is the spitting image of her mama! I was interested to see how Bailey would respond to her new buddy. I wasn't surprised when Bailey seemed oblivious to our house guests at first. She was way too busy exploring her own turf to really notice the new baby. That is until Bri started to cry, Bailey would look at her really intense as if she were trying to figure where the off switch was.
More Pictures!
We had a pretty exciting holiday. We spent some time at the pool, went to the Georgia Aquarium, and then watched fireworks from Roswell High. Bailey was a little skittish of the fireworks and loud noises at first, but she calmed down after a couple of minutes. We all had a great time, hope everyone else enjoyed their days off!
Once again, Ben and Andrea threw an awesome party. Mike and I didn't eat all day because we knew Andrea had been cooking since yesterday and we wanted to make sure we had plenty of room for all of her great food. Bailey was able to stay up until 8:00, even she didn't want to go home too early. Mike is still over there partying hard. He knows to give me allllll the details tomorrow. Like did Andrea start with the hiccups, did the girls get the karaoke going again, are there any jalapeno poppers left????!!!!
