Today was very exciting for Bailey because she got to go with Ms. Marcia's Munchins to McDonald's for lunch. Marcia, being the sweet person she is, even came by and picked me up so I could join the fun. (Plus she was out numbered...heehee.) Bailey really enjoyed her first happy meal. It was my first time braving the kiddie section too. Pre-Bailey, Mike and I would sit as far away from the play area as possible. My how times have changed! After eating her cheeseburger, Bailey got a chance to get on the slide with Madison and Sarah. Even Marcia got a chance to experience the slide. Of course she was just rescuing Bailey since she didn't know how to slide down, but I know she secretly wanted to join in.
I really am glad I got a chance to be part of Bailey's first field trip. And my hat goes off to Marcia. She really is a wonder with all those kids on her own. No wonder Bailey loves her so much.

Mike and I went to Destin to celebrate my birthday and to just SLEEP for a whole week. I think every doctor should prescribe a vacation to the beach for anyone recovering from major surgery. And insurance should pay for it..haha. We had a great time doing absolutely nothing. Bailey stayed with her grandparents in Albany so Mike and I could really enjoy our getaway. But I did make it back in time to celebrate my birthday with my family. 
Bailey got a chance to visit with Goliath this afternoon. Our neighbors, Sheryl and Holly, were out walking their dogs and stopped by so Bailey could get some puppy lovin'. Not that Goliath seemed too excited by the idea.
